Notes:
These boats are built on proven power catamaran type hulls
(rather than the rounded tubular type) for much improved
efficencies in construction, strength, and movement through
the water. The pontoons can be completely sealed or left open
for access to extra internal space.

The Leisurecat series of houseboats is a
development on the original pontoon craft and are designed for
slightly more speed and better handling in the type of sea
conditions more often encountered in sheltered inshore waters.
They are basically a power catamaran hull without the built
in chines.
They are very cost effective when compared with tubular pontoon hulls.

These
Lazydays series pontoon houseboats became a very popular sight
around the Tauranga and Waitamata harbours. Roomy and comfortable
they were designed for enclosed sheltered waters, even though some
operators ventured beyond.

This
particular 11metre pontoon boat is about to start operating on the
Waikato River from Hamilton. It is currently surveyed for up to 40 passengers and is equipped with a galley, toilet, and cockpit
barbeque to give clients an unforgettable river cruise.

At
15 metres, this design can cater for up to 40 passengers on
enclosed waters cruises. All Kingfisher pontoon boats can be
customised to a clients own specs and can be built any length up
to 17 metres.

These two new 11m designs represent a very cost
effective way of building houseboats. Rather than pontoons as we
know them, they have more of a catamaran type hull which gives
much better performances when a little more speed is desired.
